Day 1

Arrival & Acclimatisation

Arrive from early afternoon and settle into your private Provençal retreat. Take a moment to soak in the surroundings, then meet the group over a relaxed aperitif. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner on the terrace with an authentic Provençal cuisine paired with local wines, and a brief introduction to the week ahead.

No cycling today, just presence, conversation, and the quiet anticipation of the adventures to come.

Day 2

Warm-Up Ride Through the Luberon

The first ride covers 60 to 80 kilometres through the Luberon valley, with rolling terrain and ochre villages perched on sun-drenched hillsides. It’s the perfect opportunity to find your rhythm, fine-tune your bike, and settle into the group dynamic. Mid-ride, we stop for lunch in a charming, authentic Provençal setting before returning to your retreat to relax by the pool, enjoy a soothing massage, and gather for a convivial dinner.

Day 3

Gorges de la Nesque & Wine Tasting

We start the day from a charming vineyard estate, embarking on a scenic loop through the Gorges de la Nesque. Limestone cliffs frame sweeping vistas and steady gradients invite a satisfying rhythm over approximately 90 kilometres with 1,400 metres of climbing. Mid-ride, we pause for a picnic in a stunning setting, prepared by our private chef, before returning to the estate for a wine tasting experience. We will then get back to the Mas with the shuttle to enjoy a relaxing end of the day.

Day 4

Off-Day

We begin the morning together exploring a lively Provençal market and wandering the charming streets of the village, soaking in local sights, sounds, and aromas.

After returning to your Provençal retreat, enjoy a leisurely lunch before an afternoon tailored to your mood. Some may opt for a ride of approximately 47 kilometres with 1,000 metres of climbing, exploring nearby roads. Others may prefer to relax at the Mas, swim in the pool, or enjoy the calm of the Sorgue river, which can be accessed directly from the garden.

Afternoon massage slots are available, followed by dinner highlighting regional specialties sourced from the valley.

Day 5

Mt.Ventoux – The Signature Ascent

The day begins at first light as we depart from your Provençal retreat, heading east toward Bédoin. The classic ascent of Mont Ventoux stretches 21 kilometres, gaining 1,600 metres, challenging yet entirely achievable. The landscape transforms as you climb, from shaded forests to the dramatic, lunar-like scree above the treeline.

At the summit, you have the choice: descend by shuttle or continue the ride on two wheels. We regroup at a charming local restaurant for lunch together, then riders may again choose to continue cycling or return by shuttle.

By mid-afternoon, we are back at the retreat, with the remainder of the day devoted entirely to recovery. Soak in the pool, enjoy a massage, or simply rest and reflect on the achievement of the day. Dinner is casual and convivial, a relaxed celebration of the effort and accomplishment.

Day 6

Recovery Ride & Cultural Immersion

Today begins with a gentle ride from Gargas, weaving through picturesque villages like Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, Lioux, or Goult. Covering approximately 60 kilometres with 700 metres of climbing, the route follows the valley floor, offering a balance of cycling and cultural immersion.

At the end of the ride, we pause to change into appropriate attire for a visit to the Mines de Bruoux, a fascinating network of underground quarries that tell the story of Provence’s geological and industrial heritage. After the visit, we return by shuttle to your Provençal retreat.

The afternoon is dedicated to relaxation, enjoy a massage, soak in the pool, or simply reflect on the week’s adventures. The evening brings a special closing celebration, with a relaxed dinner to toast the shared experiences and the journey completed together.

Day 7
